My Approach

My job as a psychotherapist is to provide a safe place for you to feel seen, heard, and supported to heal and make positive changes. I meet clients on a weekly basis, generally focusing on specific themes and problems we’ve identified together such as healing relationship patterns, taking steps towards one’s life-purpose, wrestling with existential concerns, forging identity, growing self-esteem, regulating chaotic moods, resolving rumination, and beyond. Sometimes a session is simply getting things off your chest, finding relief in sharing your stories and personal struggles with someone who cares. 


Therapy with me generally begins with the question “So, what brings you to see me?” and flows from there. The first few sessions of “assessment” are about getting to know each other and forming a mutually agreed upon set of focus issues. From here we develop solutions and engage in healing processes to address these primary problems. Given the radical uniqueness of each different person i see, it is important to provide a bespoke treatment approach, and this can mean some trial and error before finding what best works for you. 


I value relating in a humanistic manner, fostering rapport, collaboration, and equality. Clients often describe me as warm, open-minded, discerning, humorous, and caring.

My key areas of interest include childhood trauma, PTSD, authenticity, attachment, hypnosis, self-esteem, dreams, spirituality, activism, and nature-connection.
