My Approach

I believe that psychotherapy is a powerful tool that can benefit everyone and can be used to work through specific life challenges or circumstances but can also be approached as a tool to enrich your life and relationships through increasing self-compassion, self-understanding and insight.
My areas of focus include but are not limited to stress/trauma, depression and anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions and identity challenges. I often work with individuals from the LGBTQI+ community, including individuals questioning their gender or sexuality.

My work is informed by attachment theory, psychodynamic theory, developmental psychology, mindfulness, systems thinking & existentialism. I take a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach and always work collaboratively with my clients to identify their unique needs and goals.
I am registered with the Australian Counselling Association and Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Integrative Psychotherapy from the Ikon Institute of Australia and am currently completing a Masters in Trauma informed Psychotherapy with the University of Sydney.
