Clinical Psychologist

My Approach
Life has a way of testing even the most resilient among us. Most of my clients have
been capable, resourceful, and adaptive. Yet at some point, despite past successes,
they, like you, may find themselves overwhelmed, unproductive, or emotionally
stuck. When stress, burnout, or personal challenges accumulate, even minor
struggles can become significant obstacles, impacting your work, relationships, and
overall well-being.
I am Mark Webb, a Clinical Psychologist with over 30 years of professional
experience across diverse roles. Before entering psychology, I spent 25 years in
local government and not-for-profit organisations, gaining a deep understanding of
leadership, workplace dynamics, and service pressures. I came to psychology later
in life, bringing with me academic training and the perspective of lived experience in
complex organisational environments. Today, I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and Business Leadership, as well as undergraduate degrees in Science and Business. My practice is LGBTQI+
affirmative, welcoming individuals and couples from all backgrounds and identities.
I believe that therapy should be collaborative, practical, and grounded in the realities of everyday life. While I draw on evidence-based approaches, I also know that people need more than techniques—they need to feel heard, respected, and understood. Clients often describe my style as approachable, thoughtful, and balanced.
My aim is to reduce symptoms and help you move forward with clarity, confidence,
and renewed purpose. Whether you are managing a demanding career, navigating
relationship challenges, or coping with personal struggles, therapy can provide the
space to regain balance and build lasting resilience.

The models I use include Schema Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing). And in couples therapy, The Gottman Method and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT).
