My Approach

Jill is passionate about working with couples and individuals to assist in developing happiness, well-being, and contentment. You will find that Jill’s style is non-judgemental and approachable. She creates a safe space for you and your partner to be completely who you are, supporting you from wherever you are in your couple journey. She has worked with various types of couples helping to foster more desirable and satisfying relationships. Couples have included same and opposite-sex couples, intercultural couples, couples who are undergoing IVF, couples in business, etc.

In couples therapy, Jill also helps her clients with issues which have caused damage, including secrets such as infidelity. She also has experience with couples stuck in conflict; those with mental health issues; couples stressed by life transitions, financial challenges, parenting differences, lifestyle changes; and those with conflicts in the extended family.

Jill is trained in several therapies that have been shown to help couples improve their relationships. These include the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy, Schema Therapy for Couples, and Emotionally focused couples' therapy. Jill has experience in private and public sectors, providing both short and long-term treatment for a range of relationship problems.

A little extra about me: I am Zambian born, wife and mum of two amazing little people. Growing up with a Zambian culture has shown me the importance of influence culture has on relationship dynamics. The family unit has such a strong influence on the connection, happiness, and development of its members.
